About Online Printer Test Page
Online Printer Test Page is a free, independent site for checking a printer and fixing what the check finds. It prints true-size test patterns in Letter or A4, explains what each printout means, and links every brand procedure to the maker’s own manual.

Why this site exists
Most printer test page sites print a single image in a pop-up window, often at the wrong paper size and scaled without telling you. Most help for “printer printing lines” lives in forum threads and videos. We wanted one place that prints a page you can trust and then tells you what to do about it.
How the patterns are made
Every pattern is drawn from code as vector shapes in millimetres, then rendered two ways: as an SVG for printing from the browser and as a PDF for downloading. Nothing is a screenshot or a scanned image, so lines stay sharp at any printer resolution.
- Each sheet carries a 100 mm and a 4 inch ruler and a cross 10 mm in from each corner, so you can tell if the page was scaled or cropped.
- Colors use pure cyan, magenta, yellow and black values and their tints, so a fault shows up in one place.
- Photo sheets use public-domain and CC0 photos, listed below.
How we write and check guides
Troubleshooting steps are written in plain language and kept short. Brand-specific steps, such as which button prints an Epson nozzle check, come only from the maker’s own manuals and support pages. Each one shows its source and the date we last checked it. If we cannot find a step in an official source, we leave it out. The details are on how we verify.
We use AI writing tools to help draft and edit pages and to search manufacturer documentation faster. Every brand procedure is then checked against the cited official page, and nothing is published without a source. We disclose this because you should know how the pages are made.
We do not run a printer test lab and do not claim to. The name says what the site is: a printer test page you use online, plus the fixes that go with it. The test pages work like measuring instruments: known input, so you can judge the output.
Who runs it
Online Printer Test Page is an independent publisher. It is not affiliated with HP, Epson, Canon, Brother or any other printer maker, and it does not sell printers, ink or toner. Brand names are used only to say which printers a guide applies to.
How the site is funded
The site may show advertising in the future to cover hosting. Ads will never appear on printed pages, inside the test tool or next to the print buttons. See the privacy policy for what that means for cookies.
